Now that we have sooooo many squash growing on the farm, the topic of squash recipes has come up over and over again. Many people have asked how we eat it so often without getting sick of it. There are dozens of recipes for squash and it’s fun to try new ones all the time so with all these different recipes, we rarely get sick of squash! My absolute favorite is squash chips and the recipe is towards the end of this post. One piece of advice if I may…bake them in the oven and do not attempt the dehydrator version. Baking them gives them the crispy chip texture and taste while dehydrating them leaves me feeling like I’m choking on a piece of plastic. Another favorite is squash casserole and sautéed squash. Zucchini fries are amazing. You have absolutely no excuse now for not buying squash fresh from Wesley Wells Farms so load up the family, bring them out for a u-pick day and try all of these amazing recipes!
