One of my favorite parts of Christmas is the food. Seriously. But please don’t tell anyone…
Have you had those delicious No Bake Oatmeal Cookies people make only around Christmas (hello? What is wrong with that picture? Why can’t we make them all year long?!???)? Mmmm…Sooo good!
All chocolate, peanut butter and oatmeal which is a perfect combination anyway so of course it tastes amazing. Only one problem.
They aren’t the healthiest cookies in the world.
So if you’re into healthy eating and chocolate peanut butter treats, this is the recipe for you. I discovered it when I was nursing the twins and looking for lactation smoothie recipes. We had all the ingredients and I tossed everything in the food processor and whipped it up.
Exactly like a no bake oatmeal cookie but in a glass. Or a Mason jar. With a straw.
Of course I’d rather inhale those sinfully delicious cookies so a healthy knock-off smoothie that could be sucked down with a straw was a win-win for me. Not to mention it’s the best lactation recipe I’ve ever used.

I wholeheartedly suggest this smoothie recipe if you’re a nursing mama and needing a quick meal loaded with nutrition, a delicious treat or you’re looking to increase your milk supply. Give it a shot!
If you’re not nursing? No worries–you can still create this yummy smoothie without worries of squirting milk out in the middle of Target. I double checked last night just for you and I had no problems. Not that I thought it would since its been over a year when I last nursed my babies but anyhoo.
Enough already. Here’s the recipe! I’d love to know what you think of it!

1 T. Coconut oil
1 T. Cocoa
1 T. Peanut butter
1 T. Brewers yeast (optional)
